Designed for long-term care, the 6-Month SENSORseat and the 12-Month SENSORseat are the solutions for residents in nursing homes and assisted living facilities who remain at fall risk and require caregiver monitoring.

Both SENSORseats are covered with a clear, ultra-soft outer polymer cover that is gentle against the skin with no hard seams or areas that could cause skin abrasions and lead to skin breakdown. Other sensors covered with regular vinyl coverings have hard seams where the edges are sealed together. Those hard plastic edges can harden and crack, and can cause severe skin damage and even lacerate the skin’s surface.

The ultra-soft cover provides the highest level of comfort for residents and provides easy clean-up following urinary and/or bowel incontinence. Just wipe clean using the same cleaners used for mattress surfaces.
