Dr. T has directed numerous research projects on falls and has developed fall prevention programs in the community, assisted living, home care, acute care hospital, and nursing facility setting. Dr. Tideiksaar has written numerous articles and book chapters on falls and related topics. He is the author of Falling in Old Age: Its Prevention and Treatment, 2nd edition (Springer Publishing Company, 1997), Falls in Older Persons, 3rd edition (Health Professions Press, 2002) and Falls in Older People CD: Assessment and Training Tools (Health Professions Press, 2004). His forthcoming book, Avoiding Falls: A Guidebook for Certified Nursing Assistants (Delmar Learning), will be available in 2005. Dr. T is also the primary author of the monthly Safe-T-Net Clinical Newsletter.
